David Moyes receives cautious backing as Leeds United relegation rivals rally for weekend clash

West Ham's vice-chair Karren Brady has publicly addressed the backlash against manager David Moyes after his side have seen a torrid run of results in recent weeks.

The Irons sit just a point in front of Leeds United in the race to escape relegation, with both sides 16th and 17th respectively. And after their 4-0 defeat to Brighton, the Whites' next opponent, many thought Moyes might be facing an imminent sacking.

But it appears as though Brady put those rumours to bed, claiming that the Scotsman already puts himself under enough pressure and knows the gravity of the club's situation. The Hammers beat AEK Larnaca 2-0 in their Europa Conference League clash, before taking on Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday.
