West Ham United could be without as many as seven senior players for their Premier League match with Southampton on Sunday.
The Hammers have been dealt a number of fresh blows in the build-up to and following their 2-1 win over Anderlecht in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night, which saw them book a place in the knockout rounds with two group matches to spare.
During the win, centre-back Angelo Ogbonna came off in the first half with concerns over a tight hamstring, while his replacement Craig Dawson, suffered with a dead leg, first picked up in last Sunday’s win over Fulham.

With the press conference today (Friday) coming just over 12 hours after speaking to the media on Thursday night at the London Stadium, Moyes had no fresh updates on Dawson and Ogbonna.
“No, because you are early this morning so we have not really got any update on where we were last night,” said Moyes. "We were just getting our bits and pieces together and getting ready to train.”
Striker Michail Antonio and centre-back Kurt Zouma both missed the Europa Conference League game after suffering with a recent illness.
Speaking on the duo, Moyes has said that Antonio has slightly improved and hopes the duo will be fit enough to go to St Mary’s this weekend.
“[Michail] Antonio is a little bit better, Kurt [Zouma] felt a bit of the sniffles, so we will have to see how he is as well,” explained Moyes. “I’ve not had the chance to see him this morning. Hopefully, they will have a chance.”
On top of concerns at centre-back over Zouma, Dawson and Ogbonna, German international Thilo Kehrer was also left out of the squad as a precaution, having been suffering with a recent knock.
Moyes expected the former Paris Saint-Germain defender to be okay, admitting he was playing it safe by leaving him out of the squad for the win against Anderlecht.
“The Thilo [Kehrer] situation is probably more of a precaution more than anything,” Moyes revealed. “We hope he’s going to be fine, we expect him to be okay.”
One player who definitely will miss the game at St Mary's is winger Maxwel Cornet, who has missed the last three games with a calf issue.
The Ivory Coast international has a chance of featuring against Liverpool next Wednesday, although Moyes said they will be careful about throwing him back in so soon.
“Difficult, he’s had a small calf strain and obviously sometimes, you can get rid of them quite quickly,” Moyes said on Cornet. “Sometimes, they don’t, so we’ve got to be careful with him. He’s not available for the next game and that is Southampton.”
Summer signing Nayef Aguerd will also miss out as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury that has so far prevented him from making his official debut for the club.
