West Ham United manager David Moyes has provided an injury update on French centre-back Kurt Zouma following his latest setback.
Zouma made his first appearance in over two months in the 2-0 win over Everton ten days ago, having undergone knee surgery in November.
However, in the first half of the game, Zouma sustained a small tear at the top of his thigh, despite carrying on to play the duration of the win against his former side.

That injury saw Zouma miss the Hammers’ FA Cup fourth round win over Derby County at Pride Park on Monday night, with Moyes suggesting he may have to dip into the loan market to sign a replacement, should his issue turn out to be serious.
Speaking out on the injury, Moyes said the club are waiting to get a clearer picture on the injury but remain hopeful that it is not serious.
“He [Zouma] is back. We think there’s a little bit of a tear at the top of his thigh,” Moyes told football.london. “We’ve not really put any date on it because we generally are trying to get a correct diagnosis, how long we think he is going to be.
“He is a very quick healer, Kurt, if I’m being honest so hopefully, it’s not going to be too bad.”
With just hours remaining of the transfer window before it closes at 11pm on Tuesday night, Moyes must act fast if he is to attempt to sign a last-minute replacement.
The Hammers boss admitted that while he may have to make a last-gasp push to sign a new centre-back, he would rather stick with the squad he currently has.
“I would prefer to go with what I’ve got because I think bringing in loan players, it’s got its ups and its downs,” Moyes added.
“Quite often, there’s a bigger story to talk about what there can be if it doesn’t work, you’ve got another player who is maybe not quite settled.
“Ideally, we will go with what we’ve got but I’ll make a decision probably tomorrow to see if we have to do something quite quickly or last minute.”
