David Moyes says he has lost count of how many bids West Ham have made for players, as the club look to bring in two more midfielders.
The Hammers confirmed their seventh signing of the summer this week with Emerson Palmieri joining Gianluca Scamacca, Nayef Aguerd, Maxwel Cornet, Thilo Kehrer, Flynn Downes and Alphonse Areola in heading to the London Stadium.
Moyes confirmed on Wednesday afternoon that not only have the club submitted a bid for Lyon playmaker Lucas Paqueta but also Hans Vanaken of Club Brugge.

Having already spent more than £120million in the summer transfer window and more players seemingly incoming, the Scot has revealed that he can no longer remember how many bids the club have made and that some of the players they have targeted would make people laugh.
"Do you know something, I'd probably say yes," Moyes replied when asked if he's lost count of the bids West Ham have made. "I might say yes to that question. I couldn't say it wouldn't take me long to gather it up but I might say yes to it.
"We've bid for a lot of players and if I told you the ones you would burst out laughing and say you're kidding yourself. But just to say that we are, maybe we are trying to go way above our station.
"Maybe I've tried to go even higher than we already are. But we genuinely, the club, we have tried to get really top players because I knew we needed it and probably for us to give everybody a lift if a couple of really top players coming in who could ease the pressure on Declan Rice or Tomas Soucek or Michail Antonio, that sort of thing."
New signing Emerson will not be available for the club's second leg fixture against Viborg FF after not being registered ahead of the first leg, a game which the Hammers won 3-0.
