David Moyes makes Antonio Conte and Erling Haaland claim ahead of West Ham vs Tottenham

Tottenham travel across London to play West Ham on Wednesday night and the clash is one that both teams are ready to fight for three points in. Antonio Conte's side have had a solid start to the season, winning three and drawing one of their opening four matches.

The Hammers on the other hand have not only won just one game and lost three, they have only scored one goal so far this season. Despite these initial results, you can never predict a London derby and it is set to be a fierce battle.

Cristian Romero and Oliver Skipp returned to training with the team on Monday, so there is hope they can return to action soon. Meanwhile Conte's comments to the media at the start of the week suggested that Lucas Moura and Bryan Gil will both be absent once again, with the former recovering from inflammation of his tendon.

Ahead of the game, both managers spoke to the media and David Moyes was asked what he thinks Tottenham's resilience and improvement is down to. "It’s down to an incredibly good coach," the West Ham boss admitted.

"Someone who knows how to win, someone who knows how to set his teams up to get results. Sometimes, and I admire him, sometimes it is not because of style, he is not interested in style, he is only interested in winning which I think to be a top manager, that has to really be at the forefront.

"You really have to able to win and sometimes, it is not done with the most degree of style but he’s very fortunate as well to have one or two hugely talented footballers in his team as well," Moyes added. As the 59-year-old alluded to, the main thing is securing three points, in as many games as possible.

Tottenham haven't been at their best at the start of the season, but have still been getting wins from their matches, which is all that matters. Son Heung-min is one Spurs player who hasn't been at his best.

After a slow start, Dejan Kulusevski and Harry Kane are finding their form and Moyes was asked if he believed the Lilywhites have the best front three in the league. "It’s certainly very close to it. Folk would say, folk could put a case up for Liverpool’s front three, folk would put a case up for [Man] City with [Erling] Haaland in the team and how good they are," he said.

"I don’t know if anybody could make that comparison exactly, is it the best three? I think they are a very, very good front line and obviously Harry Kane and Son have been very big players for them over the last season or two."

Form very much goes out the window in a London derby and both managers will hope their sides can produce a solid performance to try and secure three points.
