West Ham United have had a busy transfer window so far but David Moyes admits he is still looking to add more additions to his squad.
The Hammers have spent over £100million this summer on six signings. Thilo Kehrer was the latest arrival after a £10.1million deal was agreed with Paris Saint-Germain for the central defender last Wednesday.
Nayef Aguerd has also been brought in to strengthen that area, but the Moroccan is out until at least mid-October with an ankle injury. Aguerd is the only new addition yet to make an appearance for the club, with Gianluca Scamacca, Maxwel Cornet, Flynn Downes and Alphonse Areola featuring in the first few weeks of the season.

Despite an active transfer window, the Hammers have had a disappointing start to the season after back-to-back losses against Manchester City and newly promoted Nottingham Forest in the Premier League. Moyes admits it may take time for some of his new signings to make an impact but the Scot remains hopeful they can help West Ham challenge for a top four spot.
In his pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday’s clash with Brighton, Moyes said: “I hope so. When you bring in lots of additions, sometimes they fit in very quickly, sometimes it can get results and it shows, other times it doesn’t. There will be some players this happens with.
“For example, the Czech boys when they came in had a great impact on us very quickly, maybe the opposite was Jarrod Bowen, who was maybe a little slower in his impact but overall he’s come on. It can differ with different players. We hope they are ready and I do think they will make us much better.”
But it doesn’t appear West Ham are done in the transfer window just yet. Recently, the club have re-entered talks to sign Chelsea left-back Emerson, with Moyes admitting it is an area he is looking to strengthen.
With less than two weeks to go until deadline day, Moyes has confirmed that the club are still searching the market. He said: “We’ve signed a few players but we are still looking, we are still trying to add to it. We’ve done a lot of bidding for players, quite often, we’ve not always got them, but we’ve been quite active, that is for sure.”
