West Ham will be without defender Angelo Ogbonna and new striker Gianluca Scamacca for the visit of Manchester City on Sunday, manager David Moyes has confirmed.
City travel to the London Stadium to open their Premier League title defence at West Ham, where they were held to a draw on the penultimate game of last season in an entertaining 2-2 draw. West Ham enjoyed a brilliant season last term, reaching the Europa League semi-finals and finishing seventh to qualify for the Europa Conference League.
Now, ahead of the new campaign, manager David Moyes has lifted the lid on the state of his squad, confirming at least two injuries to complicate their preparations for the visit of City.

"We've got quite a lot of concerns but I'm not going to give you them," Moyes admitted on Friday.
"Ogbonna is playing this afternoon for the under-23s. He's doing really well but he's not ready to be considered for the first team at the moment.
"Gianluca has only just joined us and he's a little bit behind so I'm not expecting him to be available this weekend. He's not played any minutes in pre-season so it makes it very difficult to put him out so soon. He has trained but not as regular and as consistent and the transfer took quite a bit off him. We've got him in, I like what I see."
Moyes was also full of praise for City, but took encouragement from their performances against the Blues and other top four clubs last season ahead of Sunday's clash.
He said: "We're playing Man City and of course, it's incredibly tough. I don't think you can focus on any one area, you have to focus on all areas. They are top class and I think we will see that again this season.
"It was one of the plusses last year that we performed better against the City's, Liverpool's, Chelsea's, it was perhaps the batch of other games. We'll need to play really well against Man City to get a result, they have the odd addition as well."
