There is no chance that David Moyes will opt to leave West Ham for Celtic.
That's the viewpoint of Rangers hero Ally McCoist.
The 60-year-old guided the Hammers to Europa Conference League glory last night, as they defeated Fiorentina 2-1 in Prague.
Moyes became only the seventh Scottish manager to win a European competition.
With Ange Postecoglou moving on to Tottenham earlier this week, the rumour mill is now in full flow in regards to who will replace the Australian at Celtic Park.
Moyes' name has been heavily touted, with his future at West Ham seemingly up in the air despite the cup success and the fact he's got another year left on his deal.
But McCoist reckons there's no way the former Everton and Manchester United man will see himself leaving the Premier League.
Asked by talkSPORT host Alan Brazil if Moyes could be the next manager of Celtic, he said: "No, he'll stay where he is."
Hoops-daft Brazil pointed out that this could be wishful thinking from a Gers perspective. McCoist conceded: "There is an element of that. But he's just won a European trophy man."
Former West Ham hero Tony Cottee added: "You know the person I was most pleased for was David Moyes, because he has unfairly come under criticism from the fans. Moyesy has earned the right to make the decision himself.
"I am sure Celtic will come calling but it is going to be his choice now, which I think is the correct decision."
