David Marshall says Hibs will use the World Cup break to reset after a sixth defeat in seven Premiership games.
Daniel Armstrong's penalty sealed a 1-0 win for Kilmarnock over Lee Johnson's men at Rugby Park on Saturday to ensure they head into the hiatus in the bottom six. Their goalkeeper knows the run of results hasn't been good enough but their performance in Ayrshire wasn't all bad.
They might not want the break, but speaking to Hibs TV, Marshall says it might be a time for improvement. He said: "We’re all massively disappointed with the result. As a team we were all desperate to put the midweek result right and get a victory here before we stop for the World Cup break but it wasn’t the case sadly. Kilmarnock probably felt comfortable defending their box after they scored their goal.

"Second half we did actually create a few chances as we pushed for that equaliser, and on another day we could have gone on and scored a couple of them but we just couldn’t find the target.
“The break probably comes at a bad time for us in that when you lose a game like today you just want to get back out there and keep going and make it right again.
“But overall, it’s a chance for us to regroup as a team and recharge a bit and put in a month of hard work. Hopefully, we’ll have a fully fit squad by the time the league restarts and I’m fully confident we can have a better second half to the season than we’ve had so far.”
