David de Gea branded Bruno Fernandes a titan after Manchester United ran out 4-0 winners over Liverpool in Thailand. Goals from Jadon Sancho, Fred and Anthony Martial put United 3-0 up at the break, before Facundo Pellistri rounded off the scoring in the second half.
United fielded a strong team and had the edge throughout the game, with a lot of their squad having had a week longer than Liverpool in pre-season training. That was evidenced by United making 10 outfield changes at half-time, while Liverpool played three different outfield teams, with Jurgen Klopp making wholesale changes at the 30- and 60-minute marks.
The strongest Liverpool came to scoring was in the final half-hour and they did create some chances, but United were ruthless with their opportunities and were impressive for large parts of the game.

Bruno Fernandes captained the side, wearing the number eight jersey for the first time and performed well playing in his favoured attacking midfield role, before being brought off at half-time.
Writing on Instagram, Fernandes said: "A good first step in pre season for what is coming next. Thanks for all the love and support from our fans in." To which De Gea responded with: "Titan."
United play Melbourne Victory next on Friday morning.
