The David Bowie World Fan Convention hosted by Sound City and David Bowie Glamour is taking place at Mountford Hall this weekend.
The event celebrates 50 years of Bowie and will bring together a huge line-up of his closest friends and collaborators. From June 17 to 19, city centre venues will be taking part in the convention to celebrate all things Bowie.
Fans can “listen, learn, laugh and leave inspired by Bowie's esteemed collaborators”. This includes Gail Ann Dorsey, bass-player and vocalist from 1995 to 2016, and Carlos Alomar, guitarist and bandleader for three decades.
