The Raiders are set to acquire their new starting quarterback, agreeing to terms with Jimmy Garoppolo on a three-year deal to reunite him with Josh McDaniels. However, not everyone with the team seems happy about the move.
Wide Receiver Davante Adams, who was traded to Las Vegas last year in part because he wanted to play with Derek Carr, posted a cryptic message on Instagram potentially hinting at his disapproval of the move—or at least a lack of desire to discuss it with just anyone.
“If we haven’t talked in three weeks don’t hit me about this s---. Thanks,” he wrote on his Instagram Story, which has since been deleted.
