Daughter left crying as no one turns up to mum's birthday - but gets message from celeb

Birthdays are often associated with happy times surrounded by your closest friends and family. A daughter was understandably upset, therefore, once she discovered that her mum was left alone on her birthday after no guests turned up to the party to celebrate.

Turning to popular video-streaming service TikTok, daughter Addie shared her upset and admitted to "crying" over the ordeal. In the video, the TikToker explained how her mum had invited over 40 people over to celebrate her special day, but no one turned up to the celebrations.

Luckily, however, the video received attention from a famous Stranger Things star after the video rocketed into internet stardom, having surpassed a jaw-dropping 11.6 million views since posting.

Tearful Addie explained: "My mum threw herself a birthday party and invited over 40 people.

"It's 5pm, no one showed up and it started at 4pm, I'm crying.

Captioning the post, the daughter wrote: "She made food and cleaned the whole house too."

Thousands of users rushed to the comments to share their sadness regarding the ordeal - with several wishing the disappointed mother a very happy birthday.

Arguably, the most surprising message of all was from major Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp.

"I would be there! Happy birthday," the Hollywood A-lister gushed.

A second exclaimed: "I will show up just for her, she deserves so much better."

Another wrote: "Omg this literally hurts my heart I’ll show up for her."

A third commented: "This breaks my heart but she is so blessed to have you."

Putting upset users at ease, Addie shared an updated video where she and her sisters sang happy birthday to their mum to make the most of the celebrations.

The TikToker wrote beside the post: "Even though it was just me and my sisters to sing to her, thank you to everyone who was showing her love

"Guys, mum is ok, she is happy, thank you for everything that you've been saying," she added in another video.

"Don't worry she has 180k people wishing her happy late/birthday," a TikToker assured.
