A woman has received an angry backlash after refusing to serve alcohol at her parents 50th wedding anniversary party - because she doesn't drink. In a Reddit post, she explained how she had taken it upon herself to organise the celebration after her parents had suggested they wanted a party for this anniversary.
"So far, 40 people have RSVPed yes. As I mentioned, I am paying for everything, including the food/drinks. My parents have not been super involved with planning, since I offered to do all the work," the woman wrote in the post.
A few days before the party, her sister went over to see all the preparations and was less than impressed with the plans for the drinks, specifically the lack of any booze.
