BHOPAL: Pierre Beauchamp will complete one year in office next month as the high performance director of the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI). The ISSF World Cup at the MP State Shooting Academy here was his first assignment on home soil, and the Canadian isn't disappointed because the hosts won just a single gold medal, rather he is happy with the progression from qualification to finals.
Compared to the last World Cup in Cairo, India's conversion from qualification score to podium finishes has risen by 34 per cent. If it was 50 per cent in Cairo, in Bhopal it grew to 84 per cent.
