Is delivery free from Darlings of Chelsea?
No, delivery isn't free from Darlings of Chelsea. There's a standard delivery charge of £75 for mainland UK orders. For UK remote areas there's an additional charge.
Does Darlings of Chelsea offer free returns and refunds?
Customers have 14 days to inspect their made-to-order furniture to ensure it meets requirements. If it does not, they need to inform the company within 14 days, and then have a further 14 days in which to return it. Bed mattresses (excluding sofa bed mattresses) can be returned within 100 days. Clearance items cannot be returned.
Furniture can be returned to Darlings of Chelsea at the customer’s own expense; products should have their original and fire retardant tags, plus the original packaging where possible. Once received, it will be inspected for damage and if it is deemed ‘as new’, a refund will be given within 14 days. If a sofa bed mattress is opened, the price of the mattress will be deducted from the refund.
Bespoke orders qualify for a refund that’s 45% of the purchase price.
Are Darlings of Chelsea sofas guaranteed?
All Darlings of Chelsea sofas and sofa beds come with a 10-year guarantee that covers the furniture frame if it warps or there is structural damage. All other furniture from the brand comes with a one-year manufacturer’s guarantee. There is an optional five-year extended warranty available, which will cover your furniture for accidental damage, spills and other in-home damage. The extended warranty is not available for clearance pieces.
Does Darlings of Chelsea offer interest-free credit?
A 0% credit scheme is available (subject to approval) for purchases over £1,000, with a 10% deposit paid. This can be applied for online.
Can I visit a Darlings of Chelsea showroom?
Darlings of Chelsea has four showrooms which you can visit, if you prefer to touch and try the furniture before you buy. They are located in Solihull, Birmingham; Ash Vale, Surrey; Parsons Green, London; and Hertford. Every store has a kids’ corner, so the little ones can have fun while you browse the furniture. You can also purchase its products direct from the website.

Shop the Darlings of Chelsea clearance section: Head to the Clearance section of the website to find up to half price fabric and leather sofas, armchairs and accent chairs – the stock here is continually updated, so it’s worth checking back every so often to grab a bargain. The pieces here are either ex-display furniture from the Darlings of Chelsea stores, end of season stock, or furniture that has been returned by customers during the cooling off period. Most are in excellent condition, but some pieces may have slight imperfections, such as scratches and scuffs, or stitching issues. Any flaws are clearly stated, and the furniture is sold as seen.
