Daredevil: Born Again season 2 star Wilson Bethel knows what he wants from future seasons of the Marvel show: a showdown between Bullseye and Punisher.
Episode 4 of the show's second season saw the sharpshooter lure Fisk's anti-vigilante task force to a diner by lying about a sighting of Frank Castle, but the two didn't actually cross paths. Still, that doesn't mean something might not happen in the future.
"It would be a dream for me to get to shoot a Punisher-Bullseye sequence," Bethel told Collider. "Hopefully, we do get to do that someday. I think that would be fucking bananas. I think it would be so much fun. Obviously, I knew that that wasn't in the cards for this season, but my fingers are extremely crossed for that in the future."
The episode's diner sequence, combined with a dramatic showdown between Bullseye and Kingpin at the mayor's big fight night, both contributed to it becoming IMDb's highest-rated live-action MCU episode ever.
As for Frank Castle, he's taking center stage next month in his own TV special, The Punisher: One Last Kill, before he joins forces with Peter Parker on the big screen in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. That means we won't see him come face to face with Daredevil or Bullseye in Born Again season 2 but, with season 3 already in the works, never say never.
