Danny Dyer shares boozy night out with The Inbetweeners star James Buckley

EastEnders star Danny Dyer and The Inbetweeners star James Buckley have sent fans wild as they shared a snap from their night of boozy drinking.

James, who played Jay in the Channel 4 comedy The Inbetweeners, shared a snap of himself cosying up to his pal Danny as the two looked worse for wear with beer bottles in hand.

Fans of the acting pair have gone mad for the drunken snap, as the two pals celebrate their weekend together.

James shared the boozy picture to his Instagram and with his 273,000 followers as he wrote: " How’s your weekend going?"

Fans have rushed into the comments with The Inbetweeners references and jokes, with one fan commenting: "Danny Dyer? Completed him mate!"

Another added: "Ooh friends."

"Aww football factory friend," said a third.

The pair are old friends, with Danny appearing James' At Home With The Buckleys YouTube channel and even hinting that he'd get James a job on EastEnders in 2021.

When asked about the possibility of working together, Danny replied: "Get you a day? I’ll get you a month. You’re having a month, that’s it".

Asked how many days he works a week, Dyer revealed the job would be six days a week to which Buckley joked: "I didn't become an actor to work for a living."

The boozy snap of Danny Dyer comes after the EastEnders actor made some shock revelations about his time in Albert Square after he left the BBC soap last year.

The actor, who played Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter for eight years, hinted at a feud with some of his former co-stars during The Jonathan Ross Show including clashes with co-star Jessie Wallace (Kat Slater).

A source revealed to The Sunday Mirror: "Danny and Jessie are both very strong personalities and, while they never let it get in the way of their work, they did not get on.

"There was a lot of tension going on behind the scenes.

"Once, Danny even got himself into hot water when he was overheard saying he ‘hated’ her at an event.

"Anyone who worked with them both will be clear he had her in mind when he made his recent remarks."

Speaking on ITV's The Jonathan Ross Show, Danny revealed there were a few co-stars he would not miss, but "most of them I love dearly".

Danny left EastEnders at Christmas as millions of soap fans tuned in to watch his character plunge into the sea.

However his fate has not been confirmed, and the actor admitted that he wouldn’t rule out returning to Walford in the future.

Danny reportedly clashed with his co-star Jessie Wallace, who plays Kat Slater (BBC / Jack Barnes)

Speaking about his exit, he said: "It’s a very emotional thing, it’s such a big part of me.

"I tell you what it is, I’m lazy… It’s f***ing hard. Thirty pages you’ve got to learn a day. It’s like a film a week."

He added: "[But] if it goes t**s up, I can go back. I can turn up in three years’ time and walk in the Queen Vic smothered in seaweed… they [the bosses] wanted to keep it open.

"I’m very privileged and grateful for that job. It really did change my career and my life."
