Danny Dyer has revealed he enjoys one major perk of being a celebrity – a platinum gold card for Toby Carvery.
The former EastEnders actor boasts that he can get his fill of fresh cut meats and all of the trimmings “when I want” at the eatery chain, which claims to be the home of the Great British roast.
He revealed the perk while appearing on the latest episode of Kathy Burke’s Where There’s A Will, There’s A Wake podcast.
The 45-year-old said he had no idea how he exactly came to be in posession of such a coveted card, but he’s certainly not complaining.
He explained: “I’ve got a platinum gold card, I don’t why. I go in now and again, I don’t know what they’ve heard. Some people get the black Nando card, that’s the cool one, but I’ve got the f***ing Toby Carvery gold f***king platinum card. So I’m going there when I want, and I have what I want.
“I love it in there, If they’re listening; I don’t want to lose the card so I’m not taking the p**s, but there’s something about standing there with your f***ing plate, there’s a geezer in front of you and I can see the taters I want and I can see he’s looking at the same f***king taters.”
He is not the only celebrity to reveal their platinum card status.
TV presenter Hayley Palmer claimed that she was won over by her The Chase star boyfriend Mark Labbett when he flashed his one at her.
