Danny Dyer opens up to Keith Lemon about colourful discovery during colonic irrigation

EastEnders star Danny Dyer went into graphic detail after an open confession about a colourful discovery during colonic irrigation.

Dyer, 45, opened the eyes of viewers with his hilarious stories and surprising interests during Thursday's episode of Shopping with Keith Lemon. The comedic character - portrayed by Leigh Francis - and Dyer were searching for antiques, which is a passion of actor, while divulging into Danny's past.

During the ITV2 show, Lemon discusses Danny's upbringing after spotting an old wooden school desk before asking: "Did you do anything crazy when you were a kid like stick a pencil up your bum?", where Dyer made his disgusting revelation.

"Nah but I went for a colonic right… I’ve eaten crayons as a kid," Dyer explained to the comedian.

"When you have a colonic what happens, you sit on this thing and this bird whacks a tube up your a**e and then you wait for it to fill your belly up with water. It fills up so much that all the s**t comes out.

"F*****g legs up in the air, all this s**t started coming out, then a couple of crayons come out.

"And 'I'm thinking what the f*** is going on here?', anyway it freaked me out and I got off it too early."

He went on to admit that he soiled himself while driving on the way home due to his early exit, which is frowned upon.

Not all the tales were revolting though, with the Football Factory actor also revealing some tricks of the trade in the soap industry when Eastenders returned to filming following the coronavirus pandemic.

Dyer said: "We [EastEnders] were one of the first people to come back filming and we had to do it to tennis balls. So me and you couldn't be this close, you'd be a tennis ball, I'd be talking to the tennis ball then I'd f**k off, you'd stand there and I'd become a tennis ball then they would put us both together," to the surprise of the show host.

He added: "I had a scene where I was playing Monopoly and I had six tennis balls around me, mate, you f*****g try and play Monopoly with a tennis ball. You sort of come out of work and you go 'What the f*** have I done today?"

Dyer also spoke about his admiration for daughter Dani Dyer, who won ITV2 reality show Love Island in 2018, and revealed that he has a passion for comic books.
