Danniella Westbrook got in some much-needed family time as she prepares for her first acting job in six years.
The actress, best known for her role as Sam Mitchell on EastEnders, looked happy and relaxed as she posed for a sweet black and white shot.
She showed off her fresh faced look as she took some time out to enjoy the day with younger members of her family.
Keeping the cold at bay, she donned a black Nike beanie as she smiled for the camera.
The former Celebrity Big Brother housemate captioned the Instagram shot: "Much needed spending time with these lot."
She tuned 49 last week and let her hair down with pals in Liverpool.
Danniella's birthday isn't the only thing she has to celebrate lately, as she recently landed her first acting role in a while.
The soap star is heading to the West End to transform into Fairy Godmother for adult pantomime Sinderfella. She will star alongside Big Brother star Simon Gross, who will be playing one of the Ugly Sisters.
A show insider said the former soap star 'couldn't wait to get back to her acting roots' with the lucrative stint on stage.
"She is nervous as she hasn't acted since she returned to EastEnders back in 2016, but her passion has always been acting so she is super excited for this next chapter of her career," they told The Sun.
Danniella will appear for one night only on December 12. The festive show has been dubbed a “delightful and risqué version" of Disney's Cinderella.
Speaking to OK! magazine about her latest bout of surgery earlier this year, she explained: "I'm going through a lot operations at the moment. They're good but they're very hard.
"The first two of my operations haven't taken a toll on me but the next lot will do. I'm seeing a bone surgeon next who is going to be removing a rib."
Danniella's surgeries come after she vowed to turn her life around in 2021 following years of drug abuse and relapsing onto 'cocaine and champagne'.
