Danniella Westbrook has shared a defiant message on social media for her fans and detractors as she announced her return after undergoing surgery earlier this year.
The 48-year-old former EastEnders star shared a stunning selfie on Twitter and Instagram as she addressed her haters.
The soap star pouted for the camera as she took a selfie using a filter and posted a GIF which said: "Red carpet ready."
Danniella declared to her 228,000 Twitter followers: "Love me or hate me im always gonna shine … Im on my way back so be ready (sic)."
Sharing the same image on Instagram, she decided to thank her glam squad for helping her get ready.
Fans of Danniella were quick to praise her selfie as they celebrated her return.
One person commented: "U look amazing! [red heart eyes emoji]"
Another posted a GIF in reply which showed the word "Beautiful", while a third simply wrote: "Gorgeous."
Last week, Danniella showed that she is making a glam return to public life when she walked the red carpet at the London Lifestyle Awards.
She wore a champagne-coloured backless dress, which was low cut at the front with a daring split up to her left thigh.
The actress posted a series of snaps to Instagram in which she thanked individuals for doing her hair and make-up work, and for also lending her her outfit.
She captioned the post: "Huge thanks from me to @jasonj_gale for inviting me along. @miggymac.london for my beautiful bespoke pendant he loaned me.
"@kixxmekate for loaning me the dress. @twistedvanitymua for another fab make up and celebrity hairdresser @daniel_jordan_hair for teasing my hair and making it look fab, and to all the team @harishair for being amazing when I finally arrived and when my shoe snapped.
"And to @cherice_adelizzi for saving the day and for being a fabulous plus one to the event love ya girl x," she added.
Danniella's celebrity friends were quick to pay her compliments, with TV presenter Vanessa Feltz commenting: "Looking lovely sweetheart."
Former Big Brother star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace added: "Looking like a movie star."
Danniella underwent various procedures to restore her face earlier this year, after her cheek was damaged by dental work.
Taking to social media at the beginning of July, the actress shared another glamorous selfie ahead of meeting her partner David.
She captioned the shot: "Thank you for the second time this week @twistedvanitymua love this make up, feeling fresh and flirty and off to see my man.
"My face is healing better after recent septicemia episode swelling going down but you can see where it’s been cut underneath and healing after last procedure.
"I’m showing this and sorry if it offends anyone but it’s part of my journey and I’m a little excited for how it’s all going up till now. Have a fabulous Friday one and all."
