Danniella Westbrook is heading to the West End after landing her first acting gig in six years.
The former EastEnders star will transform into Fairy Godmother for adult pantomime Sinderfella.
Danniella, 48, will star alongside Big Brother star Simon Gross who will be playing one of the Ugly Sisters.
A show insider said the former soap star 'couldn't wait to get back to her acting roots' with the lucrative stint on stage.
"She is nervous as she hasn't acted since she returned to EastEnders back in 2016, but her passion has always been acting so she is super excited for this next chapter of her career," they told The Sun.
The festive show has been dubbed a “delightful and risqué version" of Disney's Cinderella.
The news comes after she hit out at the BBC for recasting her former soap character Sam Mitchell.
Kim Medcalf will be playing the character instead of Danniella who stared as Sam in Albert Sqaure throughout the 90s.
After Danniella struggled with drug addiction, the role was given to Kim from 2002 to 2005.
But with Sam making a come back, Danniella was upset not to have been cast.
She warned EastEnders bosses that there could have been "very serious consequences" after they failed to tell her that they were recasting Sam.
The mum-of-two said that it was producers "responsibility" to share the news with her as it "could have triggered a relapse".
She also threatened to take legal action against the BBC.
Posting on Twitter she wrote: "Wishing Kim the best of luck at @BBCEastenders_ yet again this poor woman has to recreate a Samantha Mitchell as close to my last two recent come backs on the square go smash it darling..x oh but not to @bbceastenders my legal team will be in touch.(sic)"
Danniella has recently been enjoying a little get away to a holiday park in the UK.
She treated her fans to a topless snap of her wearing just a pair of black knickers, she gazed out over a leafy view.
She captioned the pic “Life at the lodge” along with a heart, okay and wink emoji.
“Wonderful view Westie,” wrote one fan.

She recently split from her toyboy fiance David after news broke that he was serving time in Pentonville prison.
The pair met six years ago when they were both living in Spain and they were said to have an on/off "tumultuous relationship".
