Incoming Rangers recruit Danilo was introduced to fans at his last club Feyenoord by arriving at the stadium on a helicopter.
The Ibrox side look set to clinch the move for the Brazilian star after an offer of £5 million was reportedly accepted by the Rotterdam club.
Danilo will be Rangers' eighth arrival of a busy summer transfer window after the signings of Cyriel Dessers, Sam Lammers, Leon Balogun, Jack Butland, Kieran Dowell, Dujon Sterling and Abdallah Sima.
But Rangers will have to go some to increase the flamboyant entry Danilo made when he signed for the Dutch club last summer.
During Feyenoord's open day for their fans, he was flown into the stadium by chopper to confirm his arrival from Ajax.
Danilo, 24, said: "I saw the city from above and thought: it looks quite like my home city of Sao Paulo.
"Then we flew to the stadium and I saw the fans from above, that really gave me butterflies in my stomach. Just like when I came out of the helicopter and walked onto the pitch.
"I will carry this with me for the rest of my life. It was very special and unique, I will tell my children about this one day."
Meanwhile, the former Brazil Under 20s forward revealed he is set to switch nationalities and represent the Netherlands instead of the South American country if called up by the Dutch.
He said: "I've lived in the Netherlands since I was 18 and I have applied for my Dutch nationality.
"Hopefully, that will lead to an opportunity to play for the Dutch national team. Why not?
"If they call me up I will definitely consider it.
"I'm not saying this because I think it's easier for me. Just like Brazil, the Netherlands has many good players.
"I am a Brazilian, but I also feel Dutch in the meantime. My children will be half Dutch and half Brazilian, which is the way I feel too."
