Danielle Lloyd has hailed Coleen Rooney's victory after the mum-of-four was cleared in the Rebekah Vardy trial.
The former WAG, 38, found herself in the middle of the saga after Whatsapp messages between Rebekah, 40, and her former agent Caroline Watt referred to the ex-Miss England model as a 'nasty b****', a court heard.
The court also heard evidence in which the wife of footballer Jamie Vardy reportedly threatened to leak stories about Danielle and referenced the model's miscarriage in 2019.
Now the verdict has been given, the mum-of-five has spoken out about her delight that Coleen, 36, has won.
Appearing on TalkTV, Danielle said: "I'm just so pleased for her. I'm actually thankful now that the whole thing is over because so many people have been brought into it, it's not been nice for anyone involved.
"I feel like justice has been done now and hopefully people can get on with their lives."
The nearly three year long saga is one of the most high profile cases in recent years and Danielle agreed the ordeal was a bit of a 'circus'.
"It's been absolutely mental, like I think for someone like myself, I think was just waiting for the verdict like everybody else on tenterhooks," she said.
Danielle added: "Obviously I'm really pleased that Coleen has won but the whole thing has just been like a pantomime, it's just been crazy."
When asked whether she thought justice had been served after being 'dragged into the case so publicly', Danielle replied: "I do. I think obviously Coleen's had justice and everybody else that's been involved in the trial.
"You know, a lot of nasty things were said about myself, a lot of traumatic things that were brought up that, stuff that I wouldn't liked to have remembered really or talk about again.
"So yeah I feel like justice has been done and hopefully now there can be a line and people can just get on with their lives. For this to have gone on this far, I just think there's going to be so many regrets, I really do."
The Mirror has contacted Rebekah's reps for comment.
Coleen is said to be in the process of making a documentary about the lead up to the case in which she's said to baulk at the astronomical legal fees, which are said to have reached £3 million.
Most of this will now have to be covered by Rebekah, who upon hearing the verdict, released a statement which read: "I am extremely sad and disappointed at the decision that the Judge has reached. It is not the result that I had expected, nor believe was just. I brought this action to vindicate my reputation and am devastated by the Judge’s finding.
"The judge accepted that publication of Coleen's Post was not in the 'public interest' and she also rejected her claim that I was the 'Secret Wag'. But as for the rest of her judgement, she got it wrong and this is something I cannot accept."
