Danielle Lloyd found Wagatha Christie trial 'traumatic' as she urges Becky to 'leave it'

Danielle Lloyd has urged Rebekah Vardy to "leave it as it is" following the explosive outcome of the Wagatha Christie trial.

On Friday, Judge Mrs Justice Steyn ruled in favour of Coleen Rooney when she handed down her judgement in the libel case.

However, a defiant Rebekah said she did not accept it nor believe it "was just", adding that she was extremely disappointed and upset by the decision.

It's now been reported that Rebekah could appeal the decision - but Danielle has begged her not to.

Appearing on Talk TV on Friday evening, Danielle described the whole situation as "pantomime" and said "justice has been done now".

Speaking to Kate McCann, the former WAG said: "It's been absolutely mental, like I think for someone like myself, I think was just waiting for the verdict like everybody else on tenterhooks.

"Obviously I'm really pleased that Coleen has won but the whole thing has just been like a pantomime, it's just been crazy."

Referring to her friend Coleen, she said: "I'm just so pleased for her. I'm actually thankful now that the whole thing is over because so many people have been brought into it, it's not been nice for anyone involved.

"I feel like justice has been done now and hopefully people can get on with their lives."

Kate then said: "Well you were brought into it and it was really unpleasant for you... you were brought in quite early. Do you feel that justice has been done today with this verdict?"

"I do. I think obviously Coleen's had justice and everybody else that's been involved in the trial," the mother-of-five replied.

"You know a lot of nasty things were said about myself, a lot of traumatic things that were brought up that, stuff that I wouldn't liked to have remembered really or talk about again, so yeah I feel like justice has been done and hopefully now there can be a line and people can just get on with their lives," Danielle added.

She continued: "For this to have gone on this far, I just think there's going to be so many regrets, I really do."

Referencing Rebekah, she added: "She has tried to save face and it's definitely blown up and bit her back really. I just hope for both of their sakes that they can both move on now."

When Kate asked about the possibility of Rebekah appealing the judge's decision, Danielle replied: "I think she should just leave it as it is now."
