Danielle Hunter “I want to be a Viking forever”

After signing a new deal with the Minnesota Vikings to bring his compensation up to $20 million for the 2023 season, Danielle Hunter returned to practice on Monday afternoon.

After practice concluded, Hunter spoke to the press about his absence and his answer was clear when ESPN’s Kevin Seifert asked him if he wanted to finish his career here.

He waited patiently for his contract to get done and referenced that it was a “long process.”

“That’s his job (contract) and my job is ultimately to keep myself in shape take care of my mindset to play football. Thtat’s what I’ve been doing. I’m here now and I’ve got to learn the playbook, get out there and help my teammates.”

Strong words from Hunter after a long, drawn-out process, as he is excited to be back on the field.
