Daniel Ricciardo, a well-loved and prominent figure in Formula 1, was recently released by Red Bull Racing. The 35-year-old driver had a poignant final race at the Singapore Grand Prix, where he was called into the pits by his team on the last lap to set the fastest lap of the race. This strategic move not only earned Ricciardo a bonus point but also impacted the championship battle, indirectly aiding Max Verstappen.

Following the race, Ricciardo took a moment to absorb the significance of what was likely his last F1 appearance. As he made his way back to the paddock, he was greeted by a touching display of support from fans who applauded him in a gesture of appreciation for his contributions to the sport.

Ricciardo expressed his acknowledgment that his time with Red Bull Racing had likely come to an end. Despite his hopes of securing a return to the main Red Bull team, he admitted that he did not achieve the desired 'fairytale ending' to his tenure.
