Tottenham face missing out on the appointment of Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou as their next manager following reports that Marseille are considering a move.
The French side are currently searching for a replacement for Igor Tudor after he confirmed his departure earlier this week due to "private and professional reasons".
Les Olympiens will finish third in Ligue 1 this season, meaning they will qualify for next season's Champions League. They will have to progress through the third qualifying round and play-off round if they are to compete in the group stage.

According to Get French Football News, Marseille are 'heavily leaning' on CAA Sports in the search for their next manager. Pablo Longoria, the club's President, is represented by the agency, as is Postecoglou.
The report suggests the 57-year-old and former Athletic Bilbao boss Marcelino are the club's top two targets. Lille's Paulo Fonseca is also in contention.
Tottenham will be hoping that the pull of the Premier League will play a key role in convincing Postecoglou to switch Scotland for England. This season's finish outside the European places mean the north Londoners are not able to provide Champions League participation, something Marseille and Celtic can.
Postecoglou isn't expected to make a decision on his future until this weekend's Scottish Cup final against Inverness Caledonian Thistle is over. "It doesn't register," he said. "I get that people love to speculate on these things but we've worked really, really hard to get ourselves into this position.
"For me to let my mind wander about anything else other than getting our team prepared for a big day on Saturday, it's just not who I am."
