Daniel Jeremiah reveals sleeper name to know for Bengals at No. 31

The Cincinnati Bengals won’t get their usual pick of the top prospects early in the draft this year after a Super Bowl trip.

But picking 31st, there should still be plenty of superb, instant-starter potential along the offensive line. And according to NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah, at least one of the lesser-known names (for now) would make sense.

Jeremiah identified Tulsa’s Tyler Smith as a big name to watch:

The one name I had going I think right before them, I think I had him going to the Dolphins, we talked about him a little bit earlier, but I’m telling you, the train, the Tyler Smith train is getting ready to take off. I think that probably takes off as we get to the combine, from Tulsa. Again, he’s 6’5″, 332 pounds. He’s somebody I think could play guard if he wanted to and be hell on wheels as a guard but play tackle. That’s one I think that’s really, really intriguing. But the good thing with the Bengals where they are right now, they’ve had all this success.

Smith’s rare blend of size and athleticism makes him an intriguing high-upside prospect. He’s another one of those guys the Bengals could add as a possible guard starter right away before kicking him out to tackle later, if necessary.

Either way, he’s one of a growing list of names to know for the Bengals at No. 31.
