Daniel James admits Leeds have put pressure on themselves to get a result against Manchester United this weekend.
United head to Elland Road on Sunday where they'll be hoping to follow up their win over Brighton on Tuesday by giving themselves another much-needed boost in the race for a place in the top four.
The win over the Seagulls was United’s first since returning from the international break. They now sit fourth in the Premier League table and they’ll be expecting to pick up more points when they head to Elland Road on Sunday.
Leeds are in desperate need of points themselves, with just six points separating them from the drop zone.
Marcelo Bielsa's side haven’t been helped by injuries to key players, with James finding himself leading the line in place of Patrick Bamford.
The Welsh forward struck his third and fourth goals since making the move from United in the summer as he helped Leeds to a 3-3 draw at Aston Villa last week, but they followed that up with a 3-0 defeat at fellow strugglers Everton.
Things don’t get any easier for Leeds, with title-chasers Liverpool and top-four hopefuls Tottenham to follow after Sunday’s visit of United, although James insists they’re relishing the visit of his old side.
"We are looking forward to them," James told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
"We have got obviously three games next week as the Liverpool game has been put in between.
"It's the games we play for, we have maybe put a little bit more pressure on from not getting a result from this game but we are all confident going into it."

Although United currently occupy a Champions League spot, Ralf Rangnick will be desperate for a result on Sunday as they look to make a gap between themselves and the chasing pack.
Arsenal, who sit four points behind, hold three games in hand, as do Tottenham who sit seven points behind. Wolves have also emerged as contenders in recent weeks, and they're currently six points behind United with Bruno Lage’s side holding two games in hand.
