Dani Dyer says she and dad Danny Dyer will take a break from their popular podcast as she teases fans over filming for their family reality show.
The father-daughter duo launched the hugely successful Sorted with the Dyers podcast in 2020, and listeners tuned in every week to listen to Danny and Dani tackle problem sent into them by fans.
However, they’ll be on hiatus from hosting their podcast, after the former Love Island star confirmed they were filming a new secret project.
When asked if there would be another series of the Sorted with the Dyers podcast, Dani replied: “Maybe in the future but we are filming a new show later this year which we are so excited for.”
Fans speculated they could finally be filming the rumoured reality show, which will follow the Dyers as they jet off on holiday.
Danny, who quit EastEnders earlier this year after playing Mick Carter on the BBC soap since 2013, has reportedly signed up with daughter Dani for a new travel series on E4.
According to The Sun, the actor has been keen to try “other stuff” for a while, and even hinted in one of his podcast episodes that he wanted to head into the world of comedy.
“Nobody would have predicted this would have been his first move, even though he did say at the time he was keen to ‘try some other stuff’,” they said.
Filming for the travel series is set to start this summer, but it’s not yet known when Danny will be filming his final scenes on EastEnders.
He shocked viewers when he announced he would be leaving the soap, and said at the time, his decision was swayed by the prospect of working more with his daughter.
“I want to work with my Dani a lot more. One of the reasons I've decided to leave the show is because I want to explore more work with my little Dan. I love her so much,” he said, according to The Sun.
“I just think we've got such a natural chemistry and an interesting relationship, it needs to be explored more. So we're excited about that, actually,” Danny added.
