Dani Dyer has given fans an insight into her busy life as a mum-of-three after giving birth to identical twins.
The 26-year-old TV star took to her Instagram stories to share how her twin girls, who she has named Star and Summer, are doing.
Posting a series of cute photos and videos of the twins, including a sweet moment with their big brother Santi, Dani told her 3.7 million followers: “Let’s catch up.”
She looked great in a white strapless dress as she cuddled her twin babies, who she welcomed with footballer boyfriend Jarrod Bowen at the end of May.
Former Love Island winner Dani is also mum to two-year-old Santiago, who she shares with ex-boyfriend Sammy Kimmence.
Sharing adorable snaps of the latest additions to the family, Dani revealed the tots are four weeks old today.
She said Summer now weighs 6.5lbs, while Star is weighing in at 5.11lbs.
In a candid Q&A with fans, Dani was asked if she found it harder being a mum of twins than one baby after being praised for being “so natural”.
Replying in her typical down to earth style, Dani said: “Oh babe thank you. I’m not going to lie it is hard.
“It is amazing but you just have to get into a routine as much as possible I’d say... but I love it and wouldn’t change it for the world x.”
Giving more details about the birth, Dani shared she had a planned C-section after having an emergency C-section with her first baby.
She said: “Yes it was a planned c section and was honestly such a beautiful day and a different experience from my first labour as it was an emergency c section...”
Reassuring anyone going through the same thing, Dani continued: “Anyone having planned c sections it is not as daunting as you may think.”
The doctors gave her some medication to relax her which she joked was a ‘gin and tonic’.
“I was not as anxious during the operation so it was really special,” Dani added.
Detailing how older child Santi had taken to becoming a big brother, Dani said: “He loves them so much. Such a good big brother.”
Posting an adorable picture of him kissing his baby sisters on the head, she said she was worried at first how Santi would react to not being the centre of attention any more.
“I cried a lot for him when I got home as I felt so bad and he felt so big all of a sudden (was definitely my hormones),” Dani said. “But he had adapted so well.”
Giving insight into their daily routine now she is a family of five, Dani said she has been sleeping at the same time as the babies.
And for now she is managing to make enough breast milk to feed both her baby girls.
Dani joked: “Yes I’m still pumping away. I’m actually happy with my milk quantity. If it was one baby I’d probably have a freezer full but as I’m feeding two hungry little girls it makes it that harder trying to keep up. I’ve done 4 weeks so I’ll see how much longer I can go on for.”
