NEW DELHI: England's talismanic batter and former captain Joe Root feels age should not be a determining factor in cricket and that it is dangerous to assume that star players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are edging towards the end of their playing careers just based on their age.
Currently, India captain Rohit and run-machine Virat are currently playing in the Asia Cup and the duo are on a run-making spree in the continental event, which is vital preparation for the Men in Blue for the upcoming ICC ODI World Cup, commencing on October 5.
