A violent teenager who was released on police bail twice – leaving him free to murder a beloved grandfather in a “shocking and cowardly” attack – has been jailed for life.
Rasheed Rahman, then aged 19, plunged a five-inch kitchen knife that he had signed out from his supported living accommodation into the back of Mark Carroll, 55, as he walked in a small London park with a friend on 10 April 2024.
