A vase has been pulled from shop shelves after safety experts found it “may break spontaneously”.
The blue-coloured flower vase was for sale in Next stores across Ireland and online in recent months.
There are fears it could explode at any moment and injure someone.

An urgent recall notice has been issued for customers who have bought the vase with instructions on what to do next.
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission said: “Next Retail (Ireland) Ltd is carrying out a recall of Blue Core Vase.
“The risk associated with the product is that of injury. The vases may break spontaneously.
“The brand is Next. The item number is 351715. The batch numbers are QE8606516 / QE8606503 / QE8608624.
“There are approximately four affected products in the Republic of Ireland.”
Anyone who has bought the vase is asked to dispose of it immediately and safely. If it was bought as a gift, customers should ask the recipient to dispose of it.
Customers can contact Next Ireland to arrange a refund.
The recall alert reads: “Customers will receive a full refund within the next five to 10 working days by the method in which they paid. If customers have given any of these items as a gift, please ask the recipient to dispose of the item safely.”
