Lindsay Arnold and Sharna Burgess have called time on their Dancing With the Stars experience.
The professional dancers have decided enough is enough after a decade on the hit dance contest. They've both decided to walk away from the stateside show to focus on motherhood.
Lindsay took to social media on Wednesday to confirm her decision. She wrote: "I wanted to let you all know that I have decided not to be a part of Dancing With the Stars this season. This has been one of the hardest decisions to make but ultimately I have chosen what I feel is best for myself and my family."
Lindsay is married to Sam Cusick and the pair have a 21-month-old daughter. The decision to quit came as she doesn't want to relocate to California for the series while hubby Sam stayed in Utah. While the distance wouldn't be ideal, the pair are also said to be trying to expand their family.
She continued: "We exhausted every option we could think of to make it work. But at the end of the day none of the options felt good in my heart or felt like the right thing for our lives right now."
She made it clear that the decision was not going to sour her experience and said her love for the show will "never change". The dancer also left the door open for a return in the future, saying it "doesn't mean that this is the end for me and DWTS".
Sharna also announced on her Instagram Stories that she had headed for the exit too. She welcomed her first child with Brian Austin Green in June and said on Wednesday: "I have made the really hard decision to not to do the season this year of Dancing With the Stars.
"There has been a list that was released saying that I would be a pro, and I won't be."
She explained that while she felt fit and was "so ready to dance" the time commitment required meant she had to rule herself out.
"I'm a full-time breastfeeding mama," she continued. "And not only that, I just am so in love with being a mom. As much as it was hard to say no to dancing, I have this family and this newborn at home that I may never get these moments back."
And like Lindsay she made it clear she wasn't walking away for good and even teased she might appear in the upcoming series in a different capacity.
