Dancing On Ice star Stef Reid is set to perform the most dangerous stunt of the series so far - the dreaded headbanger.
The paralympian has been in rehearsal all week perfecting the move - which will see her being spun round with her head only inches from the ice.
As our exclusive pictures show, she’s so far managed to do it with a smile on her face.
But speaking ahead of this Sunday’s show, 37-year-old Stef admitted: “I didn’t know what I was getting into when I said yes.
“The first time we did it I was definitely a little surprised at how intense the g-force was."
Pro skate partner Andy Buchanan described it as a “real challenge”.
He added: “Normally, we would take off with the other leg but this way Stef is facing the opposite direction to what she normally would.
“So, it creates a lot of different movements in the headbanger.
“It makes it really difficult for me to figure out how to teach her and to stop that rotation in order to be safe. It’s actually turned out to be a lot harder than I initially expected.
Track and field athlete Stef, 37, added: “I want to make it as far in the competition as possible.
“This is the hardest year ever and if I walk away from this, I’m going to walk away knowing I did everything that I could.”
Co-presenter Holly Willoughby is unlikely to be watching, after admitting “I can’t bear it. I absolutely hate it. I’ve never watched one live."
It comes after Stef left her Instagram followers gobsmacked on Saturday morning when she shared a video of her and Andy practicing the move.
Taking to Instagram, Stef captioned the clip: "How to keep a head banger safe!" and it's certainly not one for the fainthearted.
Stef's Dancing on Ice co-stars were quick to comment on the video, with Sally Dynevor writing: "Wow Stef this is amazing."
Liberty Poole simply commented: "Yes Stef," followed by heart eye emojis, and a fan added: "You guys are bloody brilliant."
Dancing on Ice continues Sunday at 6.30pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
