Dancing On Ice pro Yebin Mok says she was more than happy to get her skates back on just weeks after welcoming her baby daughter - despite having a cervical balloon induction before giving birth.
Yebin and fellow DOI star Dr Tom Naylor have introduced their adorable new arrival Lilia and say they are madly in love.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, the couple say it wasn't long before they were back at it following the difficult C-section.
She was making up for last time after last year when she had to pull out after suffering a nasty laceration to her shin.
Yebin was partnered with Olympic skier and Ski Sunday presenter Graham Bell but had to withdraw, something that she said broke her heart.
It's been quite a year after giving the couple’s five-year-old son Theo a little sister.
Talking about the birth, they told OK! she struggled with the disappointment of having to go under the knife.
Yebin said: "I had cervical balloon induction but then had to wait three days to get the next hormonal induction process started.
"I was hanging on to hope that it was going to kick in naturally and I was bouncing on a birthing ball for three days straight!
"But they induced me and after six hours I wasn’t progressing, so we ended up having another Caesarean. It was disappointing but I can’t complain because she’s healthy and I’m healthy.
"I’ve loved being back on my skates – I missed it. Dancing On Ice called me and asked if I was ready and physically able to do it, and I feel ready for the challenge, so I’ve been to the studio. It’s a lot of fun being back!"
Yebin is happy with her levels on the ice, despite all her body has been through.
“I was worried I wasn’t going to regain my normal range of movement but I pushed the through the pain of the rehab,” she says.
Dr Tom says she struggled with the disappointment afterward giving birth.
He explained: "A lot of mothers hope to have a certain type of birth and they feel like they’ve failed if it doesn’t happen naturally.
"But there is no reason for any mother who goes through a C-section to feel like they’ve failed or let anyone down, because Yeb absolutely didn’t and I reassured her of that.
"She’s come to terms with it a lot more now."
