Michelle Heaton has broken her silence on being eliminated from Dancing on Ice,. telling fans she is 'heartbroken' by her exit as they demand an 'explanation' as to why there was no skate-off on Sunday night.
After finishing bottom of the leaderboard in week one, Liberty X star Michelle was hoping to bounce back in style at the weekend as Dancing on Ice hosted its annual Musicals Week. Before she had even set foot on the ITV rink alongside pro partner Lukasz, the Gateshead born star told fans she was achieving a huge ambition of hers, by getting to play the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago, having seen the hit show with her mum 20 years ago and had her hearty set on taking on the role.
Michelle and Lukasz were second to skate on Sunday night with a routine to All That Jazz, but sadly, for them, the judges weren't too generous with their sores once again, with them only going up slightly from week one, to 20 out of 40. Michelle looked gutted as the scores and comments were given, with the marks seeing her finish at the foot of the table for a second time.

Michelle was rink side to see Patsy Palmer fall, but still score higher than her, before begging fans at home to vote for her, declaring she wasn't ready to go home yet.
Sadly for Michelle, after the judges scores and viewer votes were combined, she finished bottom and in a bitter blow, didn't even get the chance to fight dor survival in the skate-off, as, for one week only, the decider was scrapped.
She looked devastated at going out of Dancing on Ice so early and, hours later, after being consoled by husband Hugh and children Faith and AJ backstage, Michelle took to Instagram to share her upset, writing: "What a ride … i didn’t want it to end. Heartbroken.
"Though hear me when I say, i am overwhelmed with the support on this platform & others, I hear the frustration .. trust me, i am sad too."
Trying to stay upbeat, Michelle added: " But guys, as one door closes another must open coz it’s the only way! We get up dust ourselves off and fight for the next dream. I hope I’ve done you all proud"
As Michelle spoke put, fans were left seeking answers as to why the skate off was axed, as no explanation was given on the show. One took to Twitter to post: "Why no skate off tonight but it's back next week ? no one wants to answer that question!" A second tweeted: "Why was there no skate off ? Can’t find the answer…. and it seemed a very short talk at the end no time to thank each other just go and be with the others !!!!!"
