Dancing on Ice's Brendan Cole lets slip format for delayed final as Regan Gascoigne tipped to win

Brendan Cole has revealed to fans how Sunday night's final will work as bookies tip him and Kimberley Wyatt to be beaten by Regan Gascoigne.

In a reaction similar to the one when Saturday Night Takeaway was cancelled to make way for the rugby just 24 hours earlier, ITV were met with a barrage of complaints when they delayed this year's final to allow live coverage of FA Cup football on Sunday.

The delay, which was confirmed live on air by host Phillip Schofield during the March 13 episode of Dancing on Ice, has meant that Brendan, Kimberley and Regan have had a week longer to prepare for their final skates.

And now Brendan, who is partnered by former champion pro Vanessa Bauer, has now let slip the format for the show, which will be broadcast live on ITV from 7-9pm. Posting a teaser for the final on his Instagram, former Strictly Come Dancing star Brendan wrote: "This weekend on @dancingonice, the final three couples are battling it out for the trophy.

"First up, awe perform a showcase choreographed by Torvill and Dean, then our favourite skate from the series. After an audience vote, two couples will perform their take on the iconic Boléro."

The teaser clip revealed that Brendan and Vanessa will perform their Showcase to a medley of George Bizet's Carmen, while their favourite skate will see them reprise their routine to Falling by Harry Styles.

At the time of writing, bookies BetVictor had Brendan at second favourite to win on odds of 10/3, with hot favourite Regan at 2/5. Despite also being a consistent high scorer, Pussycat Doll Kimberley is only a 9/2 shot to win, after having to rely on the skate off to earn her place in the final.
