Dancing On Ice 's Bez has narrowly avoided a nasty injury as he returned to the rink after contracting Covid.
The 57-year-old caught the virus just one day after he made his debut on the ITV dancing competition with partner Angela Egan, and was forced to isolate.
Bez, real name Mark Berry, had a positive test and was forced to isolate until he had tested negative.
Viewers spotted him in the audience on Sunday night's show, as it was revealed he had tested negative so was able to resume training and could take part in this week’s show.
The TV personality has already started practising his routine ahead of his return to Dancing On Ice, and his followers were in hysterics after he shared a video showing him almost falling flat on his face during training.
Bez managed to avoid any pesky injuries and stopped himself from falling, but chuckled about his near miss with his 72,000 followers.
“Easy on the bends! I nearly went! How do everybody? As you can see I'm back on the ice raring to go... I'm flying backwards check that out!” he quipped.
“How do everybody As you can see I'm back on the ice and getting ready for Sunday's show for @dancingonice with @theangelaegan,” Bez captioned the clip.
“Check out my moves,” he joked.
Bez has had to miss training, and his devoted fans were delighted to see him back on the ice, ahead of his highly-anticipated return to the ITV show on Sunday.
“You go Bez. My vote is with you,” one wrote.
“You're doing AMAAAAAZING!!! So proud Xxx,” another added, as one commented: “Good luck Bez! Great to see you back on your feet.”
“Awww glad to see you back on the ice,” one fan agreed. “Haha love your enthusiasm!! Go Show'em how it's done,” another wrote.
Bez confirmed he would be back on the ice in a quick video he shared on social media - which was filmed in his bathroom - as he thanked his fans for their unwavering support while he was off with Covid.
“I just want to thank everybody who sent their get well messages in because I've been off work at the moment with Covid... not work.. Dancing On Ice. It's never been work!” he shared.
“Anyway, thank you all for all your messages of concern. I've been one of those lucky ones who has not had any symptoms whatsoever,” Bez added.
He then sent his well wishes to everyone currently suffering with Covid, and thanked his fans again for their messages of support.
