Dancing On Ice fans left in awe of Diversity's incredible performance on ITV show

Dancing On Ice fans were left in awe after Diversity took to the rink on Sunday night's show.

The dance group, who shot to fame after winning Britain's Got Talent in 2009, took to the ice at the weekend as they joined professional skaters in a stunning routine, leaving viewers speechless. Ashley Banjo, who is a judge on the ITV skating show, joined his troupe on the rink as fans went into a social media frenzy following their appearance.

Perri Kiely joined Ashley and the rest of their troupe for the performance just three years after he lost out on winning the series when Joe Swash took home the crown in 2020. The 27-year-old performer left viewers at home stunned as he flipped, spun, and boogied across the dancefloor, reports the Mirror.

Fans took to Twitter after the performance to share their views on the breath-taking routine, as they praised the 'mindblowing' routine. One fan tweeted: “Well. @dancingonice @ ITV May as well pack up the rest of the series after that @Diversity_Tweet on ice performance. @AshleyBanjo & @perrikiely smashed it. There’s nothing else I’d rather watch for the next 6 Sundays."

Another said: "That was a brilliant performance, really just amazing. Perri killed it on the ice. And Ashley did a better job than I expected. Sooooooo good." A third added: "That choreographed controlled reverse stop ON ONE SKATE killed it @perrikiely The 2023 series #DancingOnIce winner, I think Twitter agrees."

"Omg @AshleyBanjo you and @Diversity_Tweet blew me away with the brilliant performance on last night's @dancingonice I had to watch it again and again just because it was so good," someone else gushed. Another fan echoed: "It's only taken 5 years to get @AshleyBanjo on ice in skates, but that was well worth the wait! SMASHED IT."

"The truth is, we are living through such talent with @Diversity_Tweet like it’s been a decade and they are still undefeated in choreo, style and ideas! They will go down in history," said another. Another fan tweeted: "Smashed it lads. So great to see Ashley on ice , but even better to see Perri back on ice. #amazing. #talent @Diversity_Tweet."

While someone else wrote: "How breathtaking was the performance by @Diversity_Tweet on @dancingonice this evening? Mind blowing!"

Dancing On Ice 2023 continues Sunday nights on ITV.
