Dancing on Ice fans hit back over The Wanted star's 'awkward' remark to Holly Willoughby

Dancing on Ice viewers weren't impressed during the latest installment as The Wanted band member, Jay McGuinness, called host Holly Willoughby "a perv" during an interview.

The This Morning host was speaking to the singer and former Strictly Come Dancing champ about his bandmate, Siva Kaneswaran's performance and his "hip action" on the ice. "He keeps saying he can't dance, but we all saw those hips tonight," said Holly.

“You perv”, replied Jay, who seemed a bit taken aback by the question and went on to say he was "really proud" of his bandmate.

Viewers were quick to comment on the response from the boyband member, and Meena wrote: "Why did he call her a perv, she’s reading a script my love #dancingonice." Another said: "The silence when he said "You perv" was such an awkward TV moment. And honestly, wtf????"

TJ wrote: "Am I deaf or did the guy in the audience call Holly a perv!?? #DancingonIce I’m pretty sure his response was “you perv” when she asked about hip action". But Teresa added: "Okay @JayMcGuiness calling Holly a perv has made this episode so much better #DancingOnIce."
