Dancer Lindsay Arnold recently shared her thoughts on expanding her family in the future. In a TikTok video, Arnold revealed that she had taken a pregnancy test due to feeling nauseous and experiencing irregular periods, but confirmed she was not pregnant. The 30-year-old dancer, who is already a mother to Sage, 3, and June, 15 months, mentioned that she and her husband are not actively trying for another child at the moment.
Arnold expressed that while her youngest daughter is at an age where it wouldn't be surprising for her to get pregnant, they are not quite ready for another addition to their family. She mentioned that she appreciates the two-and-a-half-year age gap between her daughters and does not plan to have children closer in age than that.
Considering her previous experience of taking 11 months to conceive her second child, Arnold is contemplating when to start trying for a third child. She acknowledged the uncertainty of timing but emphasized the importance of being fully prepared before expanding their family.
Despite having a feeling that their family is missing another child, Arnold is unsure if they will have more than one additional child. She expressed a sense of completeness with the idea of having one more child but left the possibility of further expansion open-ended.
Arnold and her husband are taking a cautious approach to family planning, intending to wait until they feel ready to embark on the journey of welcoming a new member into their family. While the desire for another child is present, they are mindful of the importance of being emotionally and mentally prepared for the responsibilities that come with expanding their family.
