Dana White gives fresh update on next month’s UFC White House show

  • The UFC is set to host an unprecedented fight event, “UFC Freedom 250”, on the White House South Lawn on 14 June, celebrating 250 years of the United States.
  • UFC president Dana White confirmed that 4,300 attendees, predominantly military personnel, will be present for the event, which coincides with Donald Trump's 80th birthday.
  • General fans will be able to watch from the Ellipse, a large park across the street, with 85,000 free tickets available for various fan activities planned across Washington DC that week.
  • The main event will feature lightweight champion Ilia Topuria against interim-title holder Justin Gaethje, following a clash between Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight belt.
  • The fight card also includes bouts such as Michael Chandler vs Mauricio Ruffy, Bo Nickal vs Kyle Daukaus, Sean O’Malley vs Aiemann Zahabi, Steve Garcia vs Diego Lopes, and Josh Hokit vs Derrick Lewis.
