Dana White has claimed Jake Paul appearing in the UFC is the last thing on his mind.
Paul has unveiled his plans to launch an MMA career alongside his exploits in the boxing ring and is exploring offers from Bellator and PFL. However his ultimate ambition would be to compete in the UFC but has been embroiled in a bitter feud with White over a number of issues including fighter pay and healthcare.
White was previously intrigued by the prospect of Paul competing in the UFC after he made an offer to fight Jorge Masvidal in the octagon. However, White refused to entirely rule out the idea despite being very reluctant to entertain any official talk. "I mean, is it still something?," White replied when questioned about the chances of Paul competing in the UFC at a post-fight press conference. "To me it isn't. I couldn't care less. He's a pay-per-view turd.
"I would never say never but that's the last f***ing thing on earth I'm thinking about." Paul has made it his mission to target White through a social media crusade of posts which include dropping a 'diss track' on the UFC president.
It seems highly unlikely that Paul would ever be accepted on to the roster due to his lack of experience and poor relationship with White. It seems more feasible to suggest that White would let his brother Logan compete against Paddy Pimblett after the older sibling held good talks with White on his podcast Impaulsive.
Paul has offered to face McGregor in the octagon if a fight cannot be made in the boxing ring after the success of the Irishman's crossover meeting with Floyd Mayweather. Most recently the YouTube star offered to face Diaz for free in a bid to have him released from his contract and resolve his turbulent fighting situation.

However, White has yet to respond to that offer, with Paul previously claiming that White is coming round to the idea of having the star compete within the promotion. Paul has been spotted training MMA and posted footage of himself showing off his kicking technique which wasn't entirely appreciated by fans.
Despite coming into criticism for his technique, former UFC double-champion Henry Cejudo has invited the YouTube star to train with him and believes Paul has more chance of becoming world champion in the UFC than in boxing. "With the IQ that I have for MMA, if Jake Paul ever wants to come out to Fight Ready, to come out and train with me, I would take care of him dude," Cejudo said on The Triple C and Schmo Show.
"I think he has a better chance in mixed martial arts to become a world champion that he does in boxing. Jake Paul if you want to come up and train with Triple C, I would be more than willing to help you and show you the skills of the trade. Now if Jake Paul tells me to f*** off then it’s all good. This is just coming from my heart man.”
