Dan Hooker won by unanimous decision over Jalin Turner on Saturday night at UFC 290 in Hooker’s first fight since November for his 13th UFC win. The fight was expected to take place earlier, but the 33-year-old suffered a hand injury during training, which delayed the fight by about four months.
In the victory, though, Hooker suffered another injury. After the fight, UFC commentator Joe Rogan asked Hooker if he broke his arm during the fight.
“It’s just a scratch. We’ll have to see,” Hooker said while laughing.
However, after getting an X-ray after the bout, Hooker revealed that he did, in fact, break his right arm in the fight.

Despite the broken arm, Hooker has now won consecutive fights for the first time since 2019-20, when he won three straight fights. The lightweight fighter improved his career record to 23-12.
