Skipper Dan Biggar has warned that a lot of players have had their last chance for Wales in the wake of the shock 22-21 defeat at home to Italy.
Speaking to the BBC, while holding his son James, he said: "What do you say? This is probably the toughest interview I’ve ever had to do. It's simply not good enough. It was so poor to lose it from where we were. We haven’t played well all day, but to not finish it off when they are 70 metres from their own line...
"We have just said in the huddle now, it’s probably the last chance for a lot of players, that. From the get go, we weren’t quite at it and you get punished. I can’t give you a reason why. I don’t know what the answer is.

"Too many boys not quite up to speed. We were second in any loose balls and in any balls in the air. It’s just really disappointing that something we pride ourselves on that requires no talent, but work ethic, we were well short today and that’s got to be looked at very very closely."
Giving his thoughts to the BBC, Wales head coach Wayne Pivac said: "We left a couple of tries out there in the first half. We just weren’t accurate enough.
"We just lacked energy in that first half and we are going to have to go away and look at why that was. The Italians came with a lot more enthusiasm than we did, so that is very, very disappointing.
"That said, we still should have won the game. The last play was not good enough. To get back in the lead and then throw it away in that last minute when we had several opportunities to put the game away in their 22 is very, very disappointing. We have improved throughout the competition but today we let ourselves down."
Asked in the post-match press conference about Biggar saying it had been the last chance for a lot of players, Pivac replied: “It’s an emotional time after a game, especially when you haven’t played well, but got in a position to win. Dan is very frustrated. He’s put so much into the jersey over the years. Clearly, he’s going to be disappointed. We’ll review it and look at why we didn’t get over the line.”
