GLENDALE, Ariz. — The Super Bowl didn’t even need to start before we saw our first incredible moment.
Just over a month has passed since Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest on the field after making a tackle. Thanks to the quick response from medical professionals and trainers in Cincinnati, Hamlin survived the terrifying ordeal and is on his way to a full recovery.
And now, he’s on the field at the Super Bowl.
As the Eagles and Chiefs players were warming up ahead of Super Bowl 57 at State Farm Stadium, Hamlin — who was enjoying himself on the sidelines — shared an amazing exchange with Eagles running back Miles Sanders.
Childhood best friends. What a moment. 🤍@BoobieMilesXXIV | @HamlinIsland

Like Hamlin, Sanders grew up in the Pittsburgh area. The two have been close friends since they were kids. So while Hamlin’s Bills weren’t in Arizona for Sunday’s game, he was thrilled to be there to root on his friend.
You really love to see moments like that.
